Free Sandwich

Imagine you are walking down the street and come across a person handing out free sandwiches.

Would you take the sandwich?
What questions might you have?

Think about this scenario for a few minutes and then tell me if you would or wouldn't accept the free offer. Write down some questions you would want the answers to before taking the sandwich.

Remember to include your name or initials so you will receive credit for posting to the blog.

I would ask questions like what type of sandwich it was, what type of condimentw were on the sandwhich and where it was made. Why are you giving it away free? I wouldn't take the sandwich mostly because it is being handed out on the street, I like to know where my food is coming from and what I am eating.

If the sandwich was wrapped...and my stomach was on the gate at the time.....I'd take the free sandwich! I know that sounds tacky, but I love free stuff. If it wasn't wrapped, I'd decline the offer. You can never be too safe, you know. There are crazy people in the world, and the nice "act" can ultimately become a deadly one. I'd want to know where it came from either way....and who made it. ~T.P.

First of all, nothing in life is free.I would say thank you, but no thanks .I would want to know why this person was giving out free food, if it was some kind of promotion or something;but I dont accept food from strangers in the street.

I would take the sandwich and ask what the person's motive is for giving them away without cost.
At my college during exam time, one of the church groups sets up tables and gives away bagels, cookies, juice, coffee, and fruit. It's really lovely, but they've said they struggle because people assume they're either 1)Charging money, which they're not; or 2) Are trying to convert the masses. Really, they just want students to be well fed because they're nice people. :)

I would not take the sandwich. Only because I am very picky with the things that I eat. If I were to take to be nice, some of the questions I would ask is why they were giving away it for free. What kind of sandwich it was. Is there any condiments on it. How often will they be giving away sandwiches. And the number one question that I would ask was when was it made.

I would ask the person some questions for instance, why are they free and what is in them, before taking the sandwich. I would also take into consideration the time and place of the situation. If they were standing outside of a church and it was a group of elderly women I would take the sandwich.
